“To hear such a young man as you feeling the music so deeply is a very pleasant experience.”  Lee Konitz

Award winning Israeli composer and pianist Yitzhak Yedid received the Israel Prime Minister Prize for Composers (2007) and the Landau prize for performing Arts (2009). Yedid creates haunting modal melodies which weave their way through rich, sometimes surprising, harmonic tapestries. Jazz, Classical and Middle Eastern images are juxtaposed. Barry Davis from DownBeat Magazine describes Yedid as a wonderful storyteller and master pianist.
